Why We Need Home Based Aged Care Services
As you age, New Care Services are here to support you to stay in your own home. We know that so many people are not willing or ready to go into Residential Aged Care. They want to stay in their own homes, to be close to friends, and be surrounded by the familiar things like their gardens and the memories that can only come from their surroundings. This is why so many people and their families are choosing home care over residential aged care - they feel happier and safer in their own home.
As services are tailored to each individual’s unique needs, it enables effective management of chronic conditions, reduces hospital readmissions, and supports faster recovery after illness of surgery. The familiar and comfortable home environment also reduces stress, anxiety, and confusion as there is a sense of security and connection, thereby combatting loneliness and depression.

What home care services we offer
Privately funded services
Privately funded services may be useful when you have identified the need but are waiting for Government funding to be allocated.
You can directly fund the services you need. You simply contact us to discuss your individual needs and we will then advise you of the cost. You do not need a doctor’s referral or to be registered on My Aged Care. There is no unwieldy and time consuming paperwork or waiting times. We will work with you for your best outcomes within your budget. You can choose us for your long term or short term needs.
Government funded services
The Federal Government provides a range and different levels of financial support programs to assist you or your loved one to stay at home
Home Care Package Program
This is a subsidised program to assist you to stay in your home for as long as you are able and wish too. There are four levels of packages each with a different annual funding amount. People need to apply through the My Aged Care website, be assessed and then be allocated for a home care package.
