We are proud to announce that New Care Services is now an approved Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) provider!
The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) is a government - funded program that helps reduce social isolation and loneliness by connecting older Australians with caring, decimated volunteers who provide companionship through regular visits. Whether it is sharing a cup of tea, enjoying a walk, playing a game, or simply having a friendly chat, these meaningful connections can make a lasting difference to a person’s wellbeing and quality of life.

Become an ACVVS Volunteer and Make a Difference!
As an approved Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) provider, we’re looking for compassionate volunteers who would like to brighten the lives of older Australians experiencing social isolation or loneliness.
What You’ll Do as a Volunteer
- Share friendly conversations and companionship
- Listen to stories and share meaningful conversations
- Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and chat together
- Go for a short walk (where appropriate)
- Enjoy simple hobbies
- Brighten someone’s day simply by spending time together
What you need to know:
- No previous experience is required - just a caring and friendly nature!
- You will be matched with an older individual based on shared interests and preferences.
- Visits are flexible and arranged at a time that suits you and your recipient.
- Training, ongoing support, and resources are provided by New Care Services.
- You will become part of a rewarding program that helps reduce social isolation and loneliness.
