Why We Need Home Based Aged Care Services

As you age New Care Services are here to support you to stay in your own home. We know that so many people are not willing or ready to go into Residential Aged care. The want to stay in their own homes to be close to friends, surrounded by the familiar things like their gardens and the memories that can only come from their surroundings. This is why so many people and their families are choosing home care over residential aged care- they feel happier and safer in their own home.


What Care Services do we Offer?

Personal Care

Personal Care and House Maintenance

Assist with the activities of daily living (ADLs)-cooking eating, bathing, getting dressed, toileting, transferring, and continence.

We are also there do do basic gardening, mowing and maintenance around the home. we can also assist with clients going to be bed at night and getting out of bed in the morning. Let us do the lifting.

Respite Care

Nursing Care

Monitor and administer nursing procedures from tube feeds and suctioning to injections and wound care. we can also assist with the administration of medicines.

Medical Escort

Transport Support

Accompany and facilitate transport to-and-from home and medical appointments, scans and treatment visits. We can help you visit family, friends or a range of activities that you want to take part.

Nursing Care

Respite Care

We know that taking care of an older loved one can be physically and emotionally draining. And we know that sometimes you just need to have a break and have what is called Respite. To take a break to rest and recharge. We can arrange for you to do this while our staff can take on the caregiving duties.

How Can you Fund the Supports that you need?

Privately Funded Services

You can directly fund the services that you need. You simply contact us to discuss your individual needs and we will then advise you of the cost. You do not need a Doctors referral and to be registered on My Aged Care. There is no unwieldy  and time consuming paperwork, waiting times or having to hang onto the phone for hours. We are ready to get started straight away delivering the services you need. We will work with you for your best outcomes within your budget. You can choose us for your long term or short term needs.

Privately funded Services may be of particularly useful when you have identified the need but are waiting for Government funding to be allocated.


Government funded Services

The Federal Government provides a range and different level of financial supports to assist you to stay in your home.

Home Care Packages

This is a subsidised program to assist you to stay in your home for as long as you are able and wish too. There are four levels of packages each with a different annual funding amount. People need to apply through the My Aged Care web site, be assessed and then be allocated for a Home Care Package. 

Home Care Level 1 Home Care Level 2 Home Care Level 3 Home Care Level 4
This is to cover basic home care needs. Funding is up to $9,025 per annum or $347 per fortnight. Approximately 1-2 hours of support per week* For moderate home care needs. Funding is up to $15,875 per annum or $611 per fortnight. Approximately 4-6 hours of support per week* For high level home care needs. Funding up to $35,550 per annum or $1329 per fortnight. Approximately 12-14 hours of support per week* For very high level home care needs. Funding for up to $52,375 per annum or $2014 per fortnight. Approximately 16-18 hours of support per week*
